I like take no prisoner girl movies... Tomb Raider, GI Jane, Enough (with J-Lo, she is inspiring to kick some serious azz in that one!!!) Point of No return (Bridget Fonda), Sleeping with the enemy (doesn't Julia win in the end?)or even the 1st Wives Club
For mushy movies- Steel Magnolias, You've got Mail, Waiting to Exhale (ok except for when she burns his things :) Pay It Forward always makes me cry even when I come in at the middle, or if you have the L Word series on DVD...
You can even do sing along movies...Grease..West Side Story kind of movies.
