Why do vegetarians think they are so great?

My best friend is a vegetarian. Even though I love hamburgers, steak, chicken and such, I understand her point of view. If there were more vegetarians in the world, less animals would be killed for meat, because there would be a smaller demand for it. It's not that they think they're so great, they just choose to be kind to the animals.

I dont think all vegetarians think that they are so great. Just the ones that preach and get all pretentious about it. Going veggi is a life style they have chosen and eating meat is the life style i have chosen.
I go to event with non meat dishes with my veggi friends and still have fun. And when I have bbq's at my house I make sure i have tofu dogs and burgers. That way every one is happy.
And they don't look at us like we are meat eating animals and we dont look at them like they are lettuce eating rabbits.

But yeah I do aree that their are some pretentious carrots out there who make a big stink when I sink my teeth in a nice juicey burger!

If you truly didn't care about what anyone else eats, then why would you care to even ask that type of question?

probably because vegetarians are proud of themselves for being able to survive without eating something that has a face.

Not all vegans think they 're so great. I've met some nice ones. It depends on the person's character actually.

We think our DIETS are so great, and we don't want others to miss out.

I was great before I went veg. So gravitating to better eating was a natural thing.
