I mentioned this to a friend and she reminded me of a book we'd read years ago

I would saw broiled (medium rare) with a nice Chateau Haut Brion Pessac-Leognan year 1961 (a very nice red wine).

Well, communion wine is generally fortified - port or sherry or something...those wafers are pretty tasteless, though I've come across pretty good homemade bread at a few churches!

See, you are attempting to start trouble. People like you ask these kinds of questions then get offended when a Christian answer is given. Just look at the ratings given by fellow answerer's to the spiritual questions.

I think roasted might actually be best. Garnish him in honey and garlic and parsley, stuff an apple in his mouth (a bit ironic, but it tastes good) and leave him in the oven overnight at about 350 fahrenheit (he takes a lot of cooking). Be sure to have some barbecue sauce handy!

EDIT: Oh, and I think red wine would go best.

Depends if Jesus is coming (always set a place setting for him..just in case) If he is..just serve water, he'll change it into wine for you and you can save a couple bucks. Also for a side dish, I believe, just one fish will do. Rumor, J.H. Christ is pretty good doing tricks with that also.
