Right click the taskbar, click properties, check the box for autohide. Click OK. Or right click the taskbar, uncheck lock the taskbar, then hover your cursor over the top edge until you get the up and down arrow icon. Left click and drag the toolbar to the bottom of the screen.

U cud do that if u some understanding about the registery files i mean to play with them
"editreg" type this in run and the windows registry editor will open and den start serch for the START button properties but b sure to make backup pf the registry file before making any change into it.

U may hide complete taskbar by using "autohide" option . U may rename the start button but u cant hide only start button.....

Right-click on any unused space on the Task bar. Make sure "Lock the Task bar" is unchecked. Repeat and click on Properties.
Then, Check the "Auto-hide the Task Bar" Box and Apply.

You can just hide the taskbar.
May be some apps from Microsoft may help you, but I doubt.
