My gf used to be so attractive. She was 5'6 and 108 lbs, but now she weighs 118 lbs. We've been together for only 2 years but she's gained all this weight. I can't stand looking at her most of the time because I just imagine a big tub of fat when I look at her. She's gained 5 lbs per year and by the year 2017 she will weight 168 lbs and I can't have that. I mean if I have to stay fit and look good, she should too. So should I just break up with her and find someone else?

118 lbs is completely normal for a girl who is 5'6". In fact, when your girlfriend weighed 108 lbs she was, technically, medically underweight for her height.

How dare she gain weight on you! What a cow! Is that the kind of answers you were hoping for? How selfish of you to think about yourself. WOW 10 pounds, the world must be coming to an end. Boo Hoo poor thing doesn't make you look good anymore. What is the world coming to? *sniff sniff* What kind of a boyfriend are you that wants to run at the the first sign of weight gain? Pretty pathetic but yet so typical of men who think that women only stay one size forever. I really hope when you grow up you gain a little weight and the woman you're seeing asks us the same question. I'll be laughing my head off. The only way she's going to lose weight is if she breaks up with you.

If you don't like her, then you just don't. However, if you don't like her b/c of her weight, then it says that you are still pretty superficial and never got to know her as a person in the first place. Beauty is only skin deep. She is still the same person on the inside. You might find as nice a way as possible to ask her to lose some weight..and be ready to run when you do!

You lyin' dog. You just want attention. If she is 5"6 and she weighed 108 pounds then she would look like a stick. My cousin is 5"6 and she weight 118s. She is a model....What kind of girl do you want....Nichole Ritchie or Calista Flockhart? Why do these people get on yahoo answers and create over-the-top personas? I will never know.

Going from 108 to 118 isn't too big of a deal. If it bugs you that much you should try and talk to her about it. If you already have talked about it and its getting worse then get rid of her. Attraction is pretty damn important and I don't think anyone would stick around someone that physically repulses them.

Yes, break up with her. So SHE can find someone else. If you don't like it, then break up w/her. It's not fair to her that she has to change to fit your ideal body image. It's her body after all.Ten pounds is nothing! For her height, it sounds absolutely normal, even on the light side! What makes you so sure you haven't changed in the 2 years? Something to think about...

Talk to her and tell her that her weight is bothering you. I'm sure that she doesn't want to gain that much weight either. If she's having problem losing weight, support her and maybe you can even go to the gym together.

Personally, I don't think that this should be a big factor in your relationship. But since it's very important for you, you should do something about it.

Do you love her or not? You know some women eat more when they are happy and comfortable in a relationship. There are ways of getting here to exercise without telling her she is fat and making her feel REALLY bad. Think about it. Would you like someone telling you they didn't want to be with you because of your weight. Maybe try and involve her in your exercise regime.

No it is not wrong PLEASE leave I can't say MAN because a real man would never talk about his girl friend this way. So I will say guy I can't say on here what I would really like to tell you but a JERK like you doesn't deserve any girl at any weight.Get the hell out and leave the girl to someone who will appreciate her GOOD LUCK TO THE GIRL
