Well i'm the opposite, i'm french and i've lived in England for many years. As you've probably found out already, the level of unemployment in France is extremely high. It is very difficult for graduates in France to find work which why so many french expatriate. Your only bet for now is to start learning french, join a class and go to the ANPE (french job centre) to see what options are there for you. They might even be able to povide you some 'formation' in french language free of charge. Until you speak fluent french, i am afraid there's only low paid jobs like cleaning, ironing...Or maybe you could do some live-out nannying, i'm sure some Parisian families would love to empoy a native english speaker to converse with their children. Or get in touch with english expatriates living in Paris (do an internet communities search) , they might be able to give you tips or even employ you in their business...Good luck!

You could apply for teaching jobs in business or languages schools otherwise French people being so crap with foreign languages it's most unlikely you could get any kind of job other than teaching or tourism, for any company would expect you to have a good command and comprehension of French. Thus said I 've got a Norwegian friend who doesn't speak French but English fluently and is currently living and working in Paris in a stock exchange company but he's been sent there by the company he was already working for back in Norway.Maybe you could go to the "Chambre de commerce" de Paris and browse the English/Americans based companies that got branches in Paris and apply for jobs spontaneously.French aren't very welcoming, they tend to think British diplomas don't equal French ones.
