This question is a tough one, as the economy is both fragile and indestructible at the same time. Like energy, the economy can never be destroyed, only altered.
For thousands of years, humanity got by without money, without stocks, without bonds. We bartered work or possessions for work or possessions. While the system was undoubtedly far from perfect since there was no clearly defined unit or currency, people still only gave what they saw as being fair for what they wanted.
Our current currency and sense of an economy, on the other hand is stretched thin by too many variables to truly be 100% sustainable. Then again, it was never really intended to be. While the concept of a set unit for mutual conversions is useful, basing it on the trades performed with it is inherently faulty in premise. If more trades for one price of X occur, X=X+Y, whereas if less trades for price X occur, X=X-Y. As you can guess by that very simplistic view, fluctuations can and will occur. Sometimes the fluctuations will be useful, other times disastrous.
Further knowing that our economy is based in part on the trades of countries aside from out own, however, makes the situation even worse. If production or consumption drops in a far away land, it can actually have a significant impact on your own economy as the relative prices of similar products strive to reach a new balance. When it comes down to it, it's all just a "butterfly effect" that more often than not tends to self correct quickly enough to remain sustainable.
So, in closing, the economy will not crash, but it may be altered severely if we don't act to stabilize both the global marketplace and the geopolitcal scene as a whole.

If there is a terrorist attack on something that is a symbol or controls our economy. Yes. If we spend anymore money on this war, then yes.
