Meet me in half an hour at the station, we will go to the seaside, have a walk on the pier, have our fortunes told, go on the rides, have fish and chips, and go for a paddle.
If that doesn't sound inviting then the alternative me will make you feel good about yourself. xxx

Not fair when that happens is it Phil!
I feel your pain!
Take the day off, and do something that you really enjoy. Take a walk in the park. Treat yourself to a good meal out. Buy a book or a new pair of shoes. Get a haircut in a fancy salon or a salon treatment. Make a pot of tea and indulge in your favourite dessert with it. Phone a friend that is cheerful and meet them for a drink.
Be good to yourself Phil. We all have had that sort of thing happen. It ain't fair. But life is like that isn't it?

It's lousy when that happens! You know you acted in good faith so hold your head up and be proud of yourself. There's always someone out there who wants to put you down, so be very pleased that you are not one of those people.
Good for you, my friend, you did well, and in a day or two, the incident will not bother you at all.

Sorry to hear that MonkeyPhil. Bite the bullet - go grab a coffee or tea - take an early lunchbreak and go out of your building and take a long walk. Go to a bookshop or music shop and browse around. Finish your day as early as possible. After a night's sleep tomorrow will be just fine. Peace out

Accept it and move on, life always throws crap at you, but that is always so you can truly appreciate the good later. I´m a believer in karma and what you did in good faith will come back to you somewhere, your a good person and mistakes can be made, hey you didn´t die!
Go and something you enjoy or chat to someone you like and haven´t spoken to in a long time.

Don't dwell on it or it can ruin your whole day. When I'm having a bad day, I look for jokes on the internet or read a funny book. It cheers me up.
