I went from a 0g to a 00g on four sperate occasions and everytime I put my 00g's in they go in fine but they start watering. When I say water I mean this stuff runs down my neck and becomes crusty. They didn't do this with any other gauge. I was using acrylic and figured maybe that was what was making it that way. I've since changed and today I put in these silicone like ones that aren't heavy at all and just sit in my ear but they're still watering. I've tried sea salt soaks but nothing is working. Can someone please help me and tell me what I should do!?!

i've never heard of anything like this before. it's either uncommon or i'm oblivious. i would speak with a reputable piercer. they could tell you why your ears are doing this.

It's probably just lymph, but your jewelry choices aren't helping.

Get some steel or titanium tunnles/plugs (titanium is much lighter if you're worried about the weight). Acrylic can cause a weepy reaction from piercings, and silicone can cause the same. Niether are appropriate for fresh stretches or long term wear.

Make sure you do your sea salt soaks 2-3 times per day for the first 2 weeks or so, then you can slowly reduce the frequency.

you might have stretched it too fast - this can cause it to go a bit gunky. leave it at the size it is for a while, make sure it's happy then try again in a few months (you should generally leave it at least 2 months before upsizing)
