First off I am appalled that you only gave her milk for two days. How long does it take to stop at the store and get some food for it? Second, please don't give her regular milk. After weaning from their mother most cats become lactose intolerant. This causes gastric upset and diarrhea, which can lead to dehydration and possible death. If you want to give her milk there are "cat milks" that can be found in pet stores and some grocery stores in the pet section. If she is not drinking water at all, feed canned food. But offer dry kitten food too. I suggest having the vet check her out just to make sure there is nothing wrong and that she is properly hydrated.
Lastly, having a pet is alot of responsibility and they tend to take up some of your time - feeding, cleaning, vet appointments, etc. If you don't have the 10 or 15 minutes it take s to get her food how are you gonna have time for the rest? If you really are that busy maybe it would be better to find her a different home. I'm not trying to mean just honest. I hope kitty is ok, and best of luck!

some cats do not like water.
i have six cats and one of them won't drink water. The vet recommend i feed her a can of wet food every other day. This is how i have been feeding her for 7 years. She will rarely drink water.. you must get your kitten food, milk isn't even good for cats it doesn't have any of the proper nutrients needed for a kitten. Most cats are lactose intolerant and it can cause severe diarrhea. If your cat won't drink water feed it wet canned food or tuna fish(don't give it tuna everyday though) also catsip is availible at most pet stores with is a milk alternative for cats. You really need to get that kitten some food and quick! a cat is a huge responsiblitly and if your not ready you should maybe find a new owner! but good luck for now hope everything works out!

Don't panic. Cats get far more of their water content from their food than we do. Just leave water down at all times - it's not unusual to not notice them drinking. If you're feeding the cat wet food, this is where she's getting her water from. If she's eating dry food only, she will drink when she needs to. You can lose the milk, it's supposed to be a treat food only.

As long as your kitten is eating, you don't need to worry. (the food should be kitten food not adult cat food)

Some cats get enough water out of their food. Odd. Some would rather drink from a dripping tap, sink or toilet than a bowl. Odd. So long as your cat is healthy and happy there is no need to worry.

If you are feeding her wet food it's about 60% water so she is getting water from there. If you change her to dry food you should notice a difference because dry food is only about 4 - 6% water. You really shouldn't give milk it's not good for them and usually gives them diahorrea.

Cats normally aren't big water drinkers and get most of their mosisture needs from their foods. If you feed dry foods, then your cat will be drinking. Please feed canned foods w/o gravy

He probably does, but without you noticing. My cat does that. We took him to the vet for this reason and the vet said that he was perfectly hydrated.

He could be sick, or nervous about being in a new home. Keep feeding him milk, but gradually water it down.
