Mash equal parts Mayo and fresh Avacado, use as a hair mask. Leave in for 5-15 min (depending on how dammaged your hair is) wear a shower cap, or wrap your hair in swran wrap. The heat helps the nutrients soak in. shampoo out.
Lemon juice is very acidic, it will eventualy dry out your hair. Nexxus is a great brand. Salon products are great, cheep shampoo is made with mostly waxy products, that will build up on your hair and make it dry and straw like.

the best possible thing you can do for your hair is to use a professional product line on it. Redken is a great line and over a few weeks you will see a great improvement. the thing about professional products is they improve the hair from the inside out where as o.t.c. products just coat the hair. Try Redken's blow dry lotion. It helps to smooth things out. Also water wax. It is a really light wax that can add shine and definition. Just don't over use water wax. Dime sized amount or less depending on the thickness and coarseness of your hair. Hope I have been of some help. Best of luck.

get a clear color gloss on your hair like Redkin shades or Sebastian cellophane's. Use a smoothing shampoo and conditioner. Blow dry with a large round brush then apply a heat protector and straighten with a ceramic iron. It's a lot of work but your hair will be shiny and smooth!

After washing ur hair thoroughly with shampoo add a half lemon juice without any additional components in water and just wash it once and in finall. U can see the changes.
Because my hair is silky and shiny cause of that.
