I need to run a datebase for training but the room i use dose not have network access so therefore thought i could use vmware.

there no ethernet connection in room,Also database needs network connection to run

I don't see how VMWare will help. It's a piece of software for running a virtual machine on your computer. But you could just as easily install the database itself onto the computer you're using - it won't interfere with whatever else you're using the computer for.

without network access, how would you access you vmware server? Can you not just run an ethernet cable into the room for this training?
