how comes your head don't fill up with water through your nose and ears?

as for your ears, the tympanic membrane, or eardrum blocks water from entering your inner ear. water does enter your ear however not to a point that is highly noticeable due to the fact of the short distance of the ear canal which we see as the hole leading into the ear. the nose does not fill with water because significantly because when ones mouth is closed there is still a slight positive pressure of ear residing in each nostril so if you are not inhaling through the nose there should be no water in the nostrils. if you are upside down water displaces the air in the nostrils down to the mouth allowing it to enter into the nose.

Because your body naturally stops this from happening. How the hell would water get into your head through your ears anyway??
