I know this probably seems like a strange question, but I really need help. He's been sneezing - making little exhalations through his nose - once every few minutes or so. This has been going on for a few hours. I already tried to blow his nose for him, but it did nothing. 'm starting to get really concerned. Should I call the vet? Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Also, I forgot to say: I took him to the vet the other day for a rash and and he got a cortizone shot for allergies. Don't know if this is related?

There is the possibility that your cat has developed a cold or allergies. The best thing to do is blow a small puff of air in his nose. There is a pretty good chance he just has some dust in his nose and hopefully this will clear it out. If you're really worried, you can call the vet in the morning, but give it a chance to resolve itself first. If it's a cold, it will just have to clear up on its own, and if it's allergies your vet can treat him.

Cats can have allergic reactions to some meds just like humans. Could be an upper respiratory infection. You don't state what the shots were for?

To be safe I'd call the Vet. in the am.

Good luck

Please call the vet and tell him the cat is sneezing constantly. They do need to know any symptoms that appear after giving medication. It may be a reaction to this, it may be further symptoms of the allergy, but it may be symptoms of something else all together. Call the vet.
