Annika Sorenstam like everyone else is very suspect of Michelle Wie's injury and the way she copped out of finishing the Ginn Invitational to avoid shooting an 88 and getting barred from the LPGA for the rest of the year.
That being said, Annika has really earned to say whatever she wants about anyone in the LPGA. Especially of Michelle Wie. Annika has dominated women's golf and made her name. I am still trying to figure out why do we need to know who the hell Michelle Wie is.

1) I disagree. Sorry - but I thought the exact same thing as Annika.....Wie sticking around and practicing at the tournament was really bad form and lacked class in a big way. If she was that hurt - then she shoulda got on a plane and gone to see the doctor.
2) Annika has earned the right to say whatever she wants. Not only was she the host of the event, she's the best woman golfer ever.

What in the hell are you talking about? Sorenstam was commenting on the FACT that Wie was seen practicing THE DAY AFTER her alleged "injury" and pull out in the Ginn tournament. Some severe injury, huh?
It's high time this over indulged, clueless, spoiled little Paris Hilton of golf was held to the same standards as everyone else. As I said in a previous answer, she's not only overrated, she's irrelevant. What a complete joke.

I'm another one who agrees that Wie has no business out there if she's not mature enough to handle playing in these events. I know she's has some success here and there, but I think she's still an immature kid. If you hurt yourself fine, but don't withdraw and then come out and play the next day saying your fine. She needs to step up and have some accountability for herself.

Well as an outside observer.....I was a bit suspicious about the withdrawal as well. I am neither a fan nor a particular detractor of Michelle Wie.....She has a talent....I just wish she would fulfill her potential.

Wow. Someone is actually on Wie's side. That's a first. How can you be a fan of someone who sucks at golf. I'm a freshman and i can beat her.

im sorry i don`t agree with you... Wie showed utter lack of respect in withdrawing because of a percieved injury, then practicing the next day...
she is a spoiled kid and will grow up as a spoiled adult...
