No, hair grows at 1/2" a month, with very slight changes in February and August. The only exception would be if you have an illness that causes some growth problems. But those are rare. Take good care of your hair and it will look great while it's growing out. While you are waiting for it to grow, try some new, fun styles.

Take a biotin vitamin pill, eat right....also make sure you get your hair trimmed an TRIMMED 1/8" every 6 weeks..if the ends aren't strong, the strands will break all the way up and your hair will get shorter. Thet rimming is the most important. Also, sun is a good source of vitamin D which helps the hair grow..ever notice how much your hair seems to grow when you're on vacation?

Your hair grows an average of 1/2 inch a month. Your hair is also protein, so if you increase your intake of protein it helps with growth.
I take a multi vitamin, a vitamin e, and an omega 3 capsule a day and it helps my hair and nails grow in thicker and faster.
And the vitamin e makes it healthier as well.
