Is there any proof that the h.i.v. virus was manufactured?

H.I.V. is easy to see as a manufactured virus because it operates very differently to most other viruses that cause disease.

This is because it is not actually a virus but a retro virus. However there are other animals that are affected by retro viruses, in particular there is a retro virus that infects koalas, which would mean that the US governemnt is truly evil if their first target when they made the HIV virus was the cute cuddly and endangered Koala.

There are in fact huge numbers of viruses and retroviruses out there. But they don't make us sick. The HIV virus seems to have little value as a weapon. If you get infected, then you might die 10 years later. Well by that time you are no longer at war, or the enemy has killed you.

Also, imagine an enemy infected with HIV. They are going to die, so they invade your country, fight to the death, rape your women (given them HIV and their children HIV) and rape all the young boys too.

Military diseases are more likely to be in the form of Anthrax. Not the band, but drop them into Cuba and they are likely to be a capatilist country inside a week. Anthrax forms spores which can be spread on the wind, but the infected have little likelyhood of infecting other people.

In fact it is believed that HIV has been around for many years and cases as far back as the 1960s may have been attributatble to HIV.
