A lot of them support if for they still have their families over there. The Hispanics that do not support it are the ones born here and have no family ties in Mexico.

Just think a long time ago when our great, great, etc.... came to America. I am so sure they supported getting their families over here.

I do think they should go through the proper channels. I know some do not for they can not wait, due to they have to feed their kids. I wish our system could work faster, but I know it can not.

Everybody wants freedom and work. It is really sad that the entire world could be one. Would that not be great. Freedom for all. I know in my lifetime I will never see this.

I hope this helps in answering your question. Just remember God stated not to judge and Love all.

Because we as a cuture, and as people support each other. We KNOW some not all by being in their shoes but by family experience, of the trouble they are having coming over to live or even visit.

Mexicans have had a bad history in this Country as being used as scapegoats and we are in a generations were, we are going to stand up and finally say no more. 1930's Illegal Repatriations, Braceros Program, Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, Segregation in Schools in the 1960, signs with No blacks, No Mexicans, no dogs. ...through the years mexicans are told time after time, they don't belong and are meaningless here. This was their land whethere the U.S. likes it or not. One day Mexico could fight back for the Treaty that was broken between the U.S. and Mexico. (treaty guadalupe Hidalgo) It is time to stay together that since 1986 when they have been setteling with President Bush the Immigration issues, and now they are scared they have kids now that are U.S. Citizens. What about them? No one thinks about them?

It's rational to stand by your family. To stand by people who are fighting for a better life. They are not taking advantage of the system on welfare I just looked it up only 6.4 of hispanic are on welfare compared fo 67% whites. It also states Illegal workers pay into medicare and social security, pay their federal and state taxes. They will not see this money back. As I see it they are not damaging the country they are assisting all those who are not working and helping all the lazy ones!!

Mexicans love their own kind and are one big family. You meet each other you are taken in as family... trust me!

Simply put, Because we are Hispanic. It is very cultural. I imagine and this is just my opinion. Our nation was founded by immigrants. We have become a blended nation. You can go to any major city in the US and find the different ethnic communities. little china, little italy, a little preservation of culture. In WI we have Germanfest. Now on a larger scale picture this. Mexico is right there. Mexican-americans can go in to MX experience their culture so easily. I am a 4th generation mex-amer I am proud of that. I want to see reform of the immigration bill. I rally for the underdog not the criminals or drug dealers but the folks who just want a better life than what they have. God Bless.

I know some people believe all illegal immigrants are criminals, ie murders, molesters, drunk drivers, thieves, etc, but I don't believe the majority are....

Most just want to work and provide for there families....I don't know what other answer you want to hear.....Sure some have compassion for their people, escaping poverty and an oppressive govt., and are many sympathetic for those coming here....We as Hispanics will always have ties to Mexico, just because we have family and ancestors from there....That doesn't mean we want to forsake this country, but perhaps we have a better understanding of how Mexico treats its citizens, the poor being treated the worse....We see what it is like for the people there, they have very few options for a better life....

Hispanics support illegal immigration because most of them came from it.

Bacuse we know & understand the real pain and hardships we face in hispanic countries and understand why they choose and risk their lives to come to the U.S illegally.

Many people have strong family ties to Mexico.
They want the best for their families just as we want the best for ours.

Yes.

Minority people stick together. That's their best option when they can't count on equality..
