hairstyle for someone like myself who has fine, straight hair. My hair is mid-short length. I haven't been able to find many pictures or ideas. If you know of any websites or have suggestions on what kind of cut to get--that would be great. Thanks. Also I need something that doesn't use a lot of styling products because I have chemical sensitivities and can't use styling products.
Thanks.

Carmen, I have done lots of research on 1940s hair styles, and I found my best resource was a variety of magazines from that era. I found those with the help of the resource librarian in my local library. I have seen some websites on era-hair styles, but none that really showed a good cross-section of possibilities. Don't stop with just one magazine unless you really find "The One" you have to have.
I also have chemical sensitivities, and have found that while some formulas are a problem for a few years, later the same formula stopped bothering me. Try the Nexxus brand, it's very good to me, and always has been.
