From where I come from, people drink coffee all year round since there's no summer or winter or any other seasons. However, I generally feel that people drink coffee more to suite their needs when they need it most. Make yourself an example. You prefer to drink it when you're feeling cold. Whereas as for me, I drink it when my innerself yearns for it which tells you I am not a regular. Believe me, I have some friends who actually drink coffee to relieve themselves of their personal probelms even when it relates to love problems. So, I guess you can see now right that this habit of drinking coffee is just a norm to most of us but differs in the sense of its purpose.
