"Is fish oil “better” than flax seed oil?
In one respect, fish oil is definitely “better” than flax seed oil. Fish oil contains two omega-3s that are especially important: EPA and DHA. The body uses EPA to create many hormone-like substances that reduce inflammation and other “excited” states in the body, such as raised blood pressure. Also, eight percent of the brain is composed of EPA and DHA, and one wants to be sure this 8% stays healthy!"

Taking fish oil can guarantee that the body gets enough of these two vital omega-3s."

Pro's and Con's can be found below...but I've always read that fish oils are better than flax.

Flax seed oil if great for the skin but I think the omega 3 is a more beneficial supplement. I get omega 3 at the health food store and they have never had fish breath.

They pretty much are both the same but I use flax seed in everything and thats just a preference. I eat alot of salmon also which is high in it... I think just plain fish oil pills have a bad taste when you burp... My kids hate salmon so I have to give them flax seed drinks and they can handle that. But it's really good for you. I think you will see a difference in your skin, hair and your nails. Its awesome. Good luck and take care
