First of all, economically France and Germany are more important than Brazil. You should learn the language you feel you want to learn it. So if you speak languages as Italian French would be easy. If you speak Germanic languages such as English German wouldn't be a big problem. If you speak Spanish you are almost done with Portuguese.

German and English have many connections with each other so pick this one if you'd like to learn more about the background of your native language and possibly improve your vocabulary.
Portuguese and Spanish have many connections and due to the rise of Spanish population in the U.S. this may also be something to look into. However, they are not the same language and unless you're fluent in Portuguese you will probably not understand Spanish.
I'd suggest German.

That's easy. You should learn Portuguese becuase 99% of all Germans speak English! No use wasting your time for that language.

In America, you are more likely to find German-speakers than Portuguese-speakers. In this way, German will be more useful, HOWEVER, Portguese is close enough to Spanish that you will be able to speak and understand Spanish-speakers relatively well, which would make Portuguese very valuable.
I personally think you should learn the language you want to learn. If you want to learn it, it will be easier for you to learn, and ANY second language will get you noticed by employers!
