I would suggest to do alot of walking for your heart but take it easy. The only sure way to lose weight is to work off more then you take in. So I would stay around 1200-1400 cal a day and walk whenever possible. Make sure your not trying a fad diet that will only take it off just to turn around and put it right back on or worse.. My personal favorite is I have oatmeal or cottage cheese and toast in the morning and then through out the day I snack on a really good low fat soup I cook and then I get a can of taco bell FF refried beans and salsa and I make a huge pita sandwhich and they are so good taste just like a burrito to me and I have 2 of those a day and then I don't eat after 7pm and I have lost 48 lbs in 2 months. The soup is easy
just look on the net for different ways to make it by googling fat free soups. They have many easy ones and you can eat that all day with lots of seasoning.... Good luck and take care

The fastest way, is not the best way. Trust me.
If you have heart problems, you should probably look into making some dietary and lifestyle changes, not a quick fix.
My suggestions for you are to...
-Remove refined sugar from your diet.
-Don't drink pop/soda/cola
-Excercise! Try walking around the block a few times a day or take up a sport!
-Under a doctor's supervision, try fasting. (I'm not sure what kind of heart problems you have, so I strongly encourage you to talk to your doctor about fasting before you go do it.)
-Lower or eliminate your intake of processed foods.
-Try going on a Vegan diet (again, talk to your doctor first).

Due to the popularity of green tea and the heavy endorsements by the celebrities, this diet is becoming very popular globally. Green tea tastes better and less bitter than the other types of teas. It is supposed to cure many ailments as well as stomach problems. However, all this is in theory. It has not yet been proved conclusively. Similarly, there is no evidence to conform that green tea supports weight loss. But if you want to go on this diet, be careful, and consult your doctor. This will save you from any complications later on.

U have to exercise and watch ur diet- no way around it. Don't resort to some crazy diet pill- those things will absolutely worsen a heart condition.
Throw in some muscle mass exercises as well to help burn resting calories.

Exercise. All those diets and pills won't do any good if you don't exercise. If you are having heart problems I would talk this over with the doctor. At this point I would suggest simplying walking and eating smart.
