my boyfriend and i have been together for 20 months. but i have a problem with becoming jealous when other girls talk to him (in a flirty way...girls can tell when other girls are flirting). he completely acts like the girl isnt even there and always reassures me that theres nothing to worry about. it just drives me nuts seeing another girl even try to talk to him. i trust him and i know he thinks im the one for him. but how to i make things easier on me and on him??

we cannot worry about every little thing in our lives. You have to direct your thinking to 'in the big picture of my life, is that important? should i waste any time on it?' Focus on something more important, keep yourself busy. Nitpicking on these trivial matters will only hurt your relationship, if there is something that makes you uncomfortable, talk about it with him, and after that, do whatever feels right to you. ie don't fight about the same old things.

For now trust him, but if you smell a rat, try to find out if he's cheating in a subtle way.

Just realize he is with you, not them. Let them be the jealous one when he walks away with you.
