What will be the culture shock for me, going to a country were there are 1.5 billion Asians or go were there are 1 billion Indians. Will I fit in more if I go to India and I'm black

Because 6 months is a long time, I'm surprised your first concern is whether you will fit in.

Let's address "fitting in"...
In China you will definitely be seen, even at a distance as a foreigner. I don't believe there are any black Chinese. So you will be stared at, but almost certainly treated ok. Fitting in often depends upon knowing the language. Otherwise all your contact will be through interpreters. Interpreters in China will usually be government-provided and government-trained. Those interpreters may not be totally honest if you ask questions that could embarrass the government. Maybe you'll get an interpreter or more than one from a university, and those people may be more open and less concerned about the government's point of view and the government's policies. In China these are important things because it is a Communist country: a country run very much from the top down. Instructions and laws come from the capital, not the people.

In India there are people you might consider black. In some regions of the country black Indians are often of the lower, less-respected, castes. A person from India that you meet here might let you know what to expect because of this. Some Indians might recognize that you don't look like a black Indian, and so may give you the respect of a foreigner, which should be fine. When you seek information or want to have conversations with Indians, those who are well educated will speak English, usually. So you can ask what you want of many different people and you won't have your words filtered by a translator (interpreter) in most cases.
I believe that in India, begging by the poor is so prevalent, that this may make you feel very uncomfortable. Just be mentally prepared if you go looking very well-dressed.
Also in India, you could do a lot of traveling because there are no places off-limits to foreigners and there is no checking of travel documents (other than tickets) by police in India. This probably contrasts to China, where the government wants to know exactly what places you will be and when.
India is NOT Communist, and you will almost certainly feel more free there. Many places will have signage in English and there will be many newspapers in English, even if they're just covering Indian news. This is also in contrast to China.

I hope this helps.

For six months why limit yourself? Go see both countries and decide for yourself. I've not been to either but I have seen most of Europe and the middle east and I believe the best understanding of any country is gained by spending time with the average citizen.

I would go to China, only because that seems to be more interesting and safer. In India is more like the wild wild west, it would be more open to exciting adventures, but their sanitation conditions leaves a lot to be desired

once I meditate I continuously finally end up taking my techniques to the same place- our previous farm out in North Dakota. once I concentration sufficient, i will hearken to the sound of the gravel highway under my feet as I walk and that i will hearken to the sound of the wheat fields tossing in the wind. once I concentration much greater, each and every from time to time i will experience the solar pressing down on me. it is not likely an imaginary place however, because of the fact I even have bodily been there many circumstances.

india would be an eye-opening experience. and your money goes a lot farther. a lot of people in india speak english, so it wouldn't be as difficult for you to adjust for the 6 months you have to spend there.
