so, i've got a degree in poli sci and i've recently been thinking about pursuing a career in nursing. I know that I can go to a community college to become an RN...but what other options do I have?? Since I already have a four year degree, can I go to a university for a RN or even a BSN degree?? I want some advice as to whats best for my situation.
Thanks in advance :)

After getting a 4 year degree,a friend of my daughter decided she wanted to become a nurse.
She went to Johns Hopkins U for the BS/RN degree. Since she already had a degree, she didn't have to take history and all that other stuff/. They had a 2 year program in BS/RN,(for those withother degrees). She finished it, and has a good job at Penn State /Milton Hershey medical center., as an RN.

Many universities have nursing degrees - it's not just community colleges. But you will still have a lot of courses to take to get the second degree, since there's not a lot of overlap between poly sci and nursing. For a BSN some of your courses would probably count. For an RN, you'd have to take all of the courses or at least most of them.

a flesh presser's help, working for a central authority coverage business enterprise, working for a p.c., working at Sizzler. there are a number of roles you could qualify for(I incorporate Sizzler through fact I had a pal that graduated as a Poly Sci substantial who ended up working one) Edit - forget approximately Nadie, thats an alias. i are starting to be just about a similar message on questions that had no connection with Arabs. one concern i could like to point out, how do you lump all Christians as Republicans and each and all the undesirable pupils as Democrats? possibly you could delve into your political ideals somewhat extra, through fact this feels like the stereotyping that H. Clinton and Pelosi and their ilk are continually doing. I admit that Conservative Christians are extra often than not Rebublican, yet even i be conscious of a few that have families that have been Dems their total life. Lumpin the undesirable pupils as Democrats nevertheless? sturdy success on your learn.
