Mary: According to the Quran (Surah 19:28, 3:33-36), Mary, the mother of Jesus, was the daughter of Imran or Amram, the father of Moses and Aaron. Mary is also said to be the sister of Moses and Aaron. Clearly Muhammad confused Mary with Miriam.
A second interesting point about Mary is the story of the date palm speaking and offering its fruit to her (Surah 19:23). This legend is easily traced to similar legends found in the apocryphal "Protoevangelium of James" the "Pseudo-Matthew" and "the Gospel of the Nativity of Mary" all of which have been dated to the fourth to sixth centuries, and were again believed by the sects found in Arabia. (More indepth information on Quranic sources may be found in Rev. W. St. Clair Tisdall's The Religion of the Crescent).

The Trinity: According to the Quran (Surah 5:116, 5:73-75) the Christians believe in "three Gods" - Father, Mother, and Son. This shows the influence of heretical 'Christian' sects in central Arabia at the time of Muhammad. In contrast, Christianity has always distinctly stated that the Trinity is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The teaching of the Quran on the Trinity has undoubtedly led to confusion among many Muslims on what the Bible (and thus Christianity) teaches about the Triune God

The Bible teaches that there are 6 Mary's in the New Testament. With the Jewish name Miriam (Mary), there are 7 all together.

no to the first point

and U say they are apocryphal but that doesn't mean they are so...Islam came to correct what was getting passed around and agree with the parts that were correct

Peace!
EDIT: ARE YOU READING IT ON AN ISLAMIC SITE? NO...I don't think so...I have seen many things changed, added to, taken out of context etc on non-islamic sites. Somebody asked the first part of this question the other day. There were more muslims on YA at the time and it got a lot more response. I am defending the FACTS. anyway you can find the answers at www.answering-christianity.com as opposed to the answering-islam site it actually has accurate and complete info. much more refutations...there are other sites as well but I believe this one is the oldest and I know I have seen the answer to your question there.

First:
Mary is son of man that called Imran and woman that called Hanna daughter of faqouza....
and about "oh...Mary sister of Haroun"...in Arabic we use words brother and sister..not only to my parents son/daughter....but i can see to man in the street..."oh...brother of Arabs"...or"oh..sister of Damascus" (it's an old way in speaking...no one use it these days)
and another meaning..that they were called there sons/daughters in prophets' names...so maybe she has a brother who called Haroun.

Mary in Arabic is "Mariam" (i don't know if there is another Mary or another Mariam)
second..I couldn't understand your question but my dear

the palm didn't speak with Mary...Allah told her to shake the palm and fruit will fall

third...i answered this question twice

fourth..for good translation of Koran

i felt that you have a problem with translation or you take your questions from non-Islamic sites

I am content to find the errors in the Qur'an, and not worry about possible sources. Of course, there are some, rendering nonsensical the notion that it is somehow the word of god.

So? You compare delusion to delusion, for a delusional conclusion.
