The airport has shuttles/ van's that will take you. When you get to the airport ask them which one goes to the port for your cruise line. Ive taken 3 from Ft.Lauderdale with princess cruises each time...they provided a ride. If your not sure, call or e-mail the cruise line and ask them if they have a shuttle from the airport...its free!

You have a couple options. When you book your cruise you can request what are called "TRANSFERS". This means that the cruise line will arrange to have a bus, van or mini-van at the airport when you arrive (or shortly thereafter) to pick up you and your luggage. You will be met at the baggage claim area and asked to claim your luggage and take it to the bus (some cruise lines will take it for you and you don't see it any more until you are in your cabin) There is a fee for this service which is generally more just catching a taxi.

If you didn't request transfers when you booked your cruise you can call your cruise line (or travel agent) to see if they are available. If transfers are not available you can always take a taxi. there are always plenty at airports and also at the cruise terminals after cruise ships arrive.

If round trip transfers are not available, just take a taxi and then when you get on ship find out if there is a tour of the port city that has an airport dropoff after the tour. You can usually only do this if you have a flight leaving after about 2:00 PM the day that you return.

you did not say which port you are in. cruise critics.com has information about all the various ports. if you are in florida you can rent a car at airport and drop off at the pier. there are no drop off charges in the state of florida. you can also ask the cruise ship if they sell transfers airport to pier. also call a local cab / shuttle company to get a fare qoute. hotels also sometimes offer shuttle service from hotel to pier. good luck / have a great cruise.

Cruise lines offer a ground package with your cruise. It will included all ground transportation to & from airports. When you get off your plane they will have people from cruise lines there where you will give them your luggage and they will direct you to the bus that will take you to your ship. Or you can take a cab. They are also aware of your ships schedule & will get you there faster than the bus. Either call who you book your cruise threw or it will come with all your paperwork.

Many times you can arrange with the cruise ship to pick you up for a small fee. This way you know you are not being taken to the wrong place by a cab,
