Want to record musical instruments?

I play drums and guitar, I want to record some songs-will have to record drums then guitar, then singing over it. Can anyone recommend a descent way to record using my computer or other? dont want to spend a whole lot. thanks

Sure, you need to plug ur guitar in the microphone jack of the computer. Make sure you have an adaptor, so it can convert the signal, then use a recording program (I reccomend Audio editor pro). And for the drums... just put a microphone in front of the drums.
