Some of my beliefs are Christian. According to the Belief-O-Matic quiz, if I answer questions a certain way, it says my top 3 closes matches are Mahayana Buddhism, Hinduism, and Jainism.
But if I answer them another way (just as truthfully) my top 3 matches are Liberal to Mainline Christian Protestant, Orthodox Quaker, Hinduism.
The reason I can answer them more than one way and still be telling the truth, is because I view things a little differently than the typical way I guess. So I could see it either way on some things.
So, if I consider myself just as much a Christian as a Hindu, (I consider myself maybe both somehow), can I answer those "Christian-only" questions?

I think it's fine as long as you are up front about your Hindu influence, and as far as I've seen, you are.
I get upset sometimes when people offer really unhelpful or misguiding answers about Christianity, but then some of those answers come from people claiming to be Christians. I say "claiming to be" because I think we have several non-theists in Christian cloning. Er... clothing.

Then perhaps you should investigate those other religions -- Buddhism, Hinduism, and Jainism -- learn more about them. I think the Belief-O-Matic quiz is designed to get you thinking, and to encourage you to investigate religions you might not otherwise think of investigating. Maybe the path you are on is not the one that best fits your feet. All I can say is, learn more. Maybe these other paths will call to you. Maybe not. Either way, it can only deepen your spirituality and your understanding of yourself.

You should not determine your belief system on what an online quiz says. That is like rolling the dice, and hoping you won't go to hell. If you are a Christian, and consider yourself also Hindu- You are NOT a Christian. Christians only worship one God. Many religions embrace the same values, but not the same beliefs.

This is a forum where everyone is allowed to ask and answer, regardless of religion. Follow your heart, no one can tell you what is right and wrong. If you have an answer for a question then share it, even if only one person out there benefits from that answer...well then that is reason enough to give it.

No, you're too truthful to be someone that would post a "Christians only" question would want in their forum. Those people only want to see things from one point of view: their own safe one. The Jesus told about in the bible would shake his head at those frightened idiots.

You can answer any question of any religion. No one can put any restriction for your answering and only thing is that you should know the subject and your answers should have an edge over others to get selected as best answer. Carry on and answer any religion's question...

Hey, that sounds like a cool quiz. Where do I go to take it? lol
Actually you could be an Atheist and still answer those "Christian Only" question, simply because there is no one who can stop you.

Yes, you can do whatever you want. I answer Christian questions, because I spent a good deal of time in the religion, and often feel as though I have a legitimate answer (even though other people thumbs down the answer.) :)

I say do it. First, you didn't spend all that time studying religion to have that wisdom be wasted. And second, nobody follows those rules anyway.
Y!A is for everyone. The worst that can happen is they thumbs down your answer. The best that can happen is they appriciate your input and give you a best asnwer.

Go ahead & answer. One of the best features of the internet is there are no borders . Why self-impose 'em? ( Call me an anarchist, but I refuse to recognize any "xxxxxx-only" stuff ;D)
