It is an interesting question. I would not necessarily be completely happy if I could buy everything I ever wanted, because everything I want in order to be happy cannot be bought. Plus once I bought everything I can buy, what would I do then?
It is fun to have goals that we work towards, it is fun to work hard and then seek the rewards after.

This is a very interesting question, and even the asking lends insight into the human psyche.
Personally, happiness is not in getting what you want unless you define your self by your things. Do you want to be known as the person that has everything or that person that everyone else loves to be around?

If I could find internal happiness for myself and my family. If I could find the answers to everything my kids& I question in life. That would make me happy and it would be everything that I ever would want.
Happiness doesn't come in material items.

Good question. That is adressed in the site below (short article). Bill Gates has 50 billion dollars. That is 50 thousand-million dollars. So he can bu anything but he is using that money now to help people with the Gates Foundation to make him happy.

No, because earthly things do not matter. Yes, it is nice to get the stuff you want, but there will ALWAYS be new stuff, and we'll NEVER be fully satisfied! But I'll tell you this, I am satisfied in not earthly things, but in GOD. Because I am a Christian, I will live in Heaven ETERNALLY, so why should I care what I have on EARTH?! It'll all just vanish when I die! I hope that you all will come to God, and become Christians!
God Bless You All!

no. it's never about the stuff - it's that high you get from acquiring. then the high is gone so you gotta keep getting more stuff...it's a never-ending vicious cycle and in the end all you have is mountains of stuff...
ever notice when parents buy their little kids those fabulous, expensive toys...and then the kid spends hours playing with the box?

But there is a catch.....
You have to want it bad enough
to give up everything else,
its the greatest treasure you could ever have.

Fortunately, the things I want in life aren't objects. I want happiness for my family and friends.
