Not formal prayers. I talk to God all the time throughout the day but yes when I am in bed going to sleep I ask him to bless the country we live in, and my family and my hospice patients and their families. I ask him to bind them all up and give them strength and his peace that passes all understanding. I do it in a conversational way. I guess I feel that close to him. Good question.

I pray-focus before/as I go to sleep. This is the time that things are easily impressed upon the subconscious mind. Upon awakening is the other time this is easily done. I don't pray to god, I pray to myself. Praying to God is a waste of time if you ask me, considering god in the books does not exist. You can't have an imaginary being grant your wishes. You can however grant your own wishes with the power of your subconscious mind. Focusing on what you want, without worrying about not getting it, will bring it to manifestation. You are the creator of your life. Change your mind and everything else will follow.

Not really. I just keep myself sober enough to recognize my bed. And then when the suns comes out the next morn, I will thank the lord with all my hearth - for giving me another day to live.

Then, i go abt my usual routine - smiling, laughing as much as possible, thank everyone(family/friends/colleagues,etc.) the whole day till night falls N curtains down. Life is great.

Yes, I do. I'm catholic & I say an Our Father & a Hail Mary & Glory Be first; then I say a prayer to God for all my loved ones (husband & Mom). If I'm not asleep by then & If I remember, I also say my confession prayer for all my sins & ask God to forgive me & help me achieve "PEACE OF MIND & GET MY ACT TOGETHER" These are my two favorite requests & then to grant favors for my kids, etc.

That's it. I don't say them out loud ..just to myself though sometimes, during the day, I do talk to God outloud.

Why are you asking , Do you say prayers every night? I used to just Bless myself & say GoodNight to God until my husband died --that's when I started praying in earnest...mostly to help myself feel good & fall asleep in peace. Good Luck.

As long as i can remember, recently i fall asleep during them and its becoming a real problem.

I was never a kneel at the side of the bed prayer person but if things keep up i'll have to begin doing that.

Not always, well recently, almost not at all. However, not to be a hypocrite, I do think it's important to be accountable before God with what you accomplished for the day. Then in your morning prayers, set goals for the day.

Yes, always. We pray with our kids before we put them to bed and then when we go to bed we pray again.
