So there is this guy that I like, and the other day he asked me if i liked him. and i said... idk maybe, would it be a good thing if i liked you?and then he said that it would be a GREAT thing.. so i told him that i liked him and he had a huge smile on his face. idk. Things seem really different now... he wont tell me who he likes, and when we talk and hang out, things are kind of awkward. idk what hes doing, but its honestly driving me crazy. He still like gives me compliments and stuff but ...uhh things are so different. How do you think he feels about me... and why are things so awkward?

You transferred the "power" .................. When he didn't know you liked him he was giving more effort, but now that you told him he is taking his time because you gave him the upper hand.
Take your "power" back ............. You can do this by whispering to a girlfriend that you kinda like someone else (make sure he hear you), He'll definitely put his game face back on.

He likes the hell outta you.
The reason he won't tell you who he likes...is because he likes YOU.
The reason he feels so awkward being around you now...is because he's standing there thinking about making a move.
Here...if you really do like him back, then you should start going out with him. If he's shy now about being around you, chances are that he's shy about asking you out, too. Maybe do it over the computer. Get his AIM. It's not in person, so it's not as hard, and it's just as good.
I promise, if you guys get together, all you need is communication, and you two should be fine. It just sounds like he wants to do something, but is really shy about it. Be OPEN and maybe suggest some things yourself. Guys like him LOVE it when girls can make a move themselves.
After you guys can get in a more definitive position, and maybe you lead him in the right direction, it won't be so awkward.

Think about it objectivly for one second. If it was someone else he wouldnt feel aquward. Im guessing you already know that but you want someone here to say "oh yeah he is really into you".
Its awkard because he knows that your more then friends now but you havent shifted to boyfriend girlfriend yet so your in that gray area between the 2. If he is too shy to ask you out ask him out as a friend, just so happens friendship is the best place to hide a relationship :)

i think he likes you... maybe he just doesn't want to say he likes you specifically or he is too shy... just assume he does and act accordingly!
