Is it in LDS doctrine that man can become capital G Gods? rule there own planets and have there children worship and write bibles about them?

Or is it only doctrine that man can become little g gods. and never be as great as God?

if the former is correct than do the Mormons believe that God has a father, grandparents, greats etc.?

LDS doctrine is that we may become exalted beings like our Heavenly Father and joint-heirs with Christ to everything He has. We do not get more specific than this.

Not only do you get to be a God with a capital G that sounds like "Whee", but also in implies the Universe contains subdivisions with Other Gods running the their own show. There is possibly a Gods' Handbook of Instructions that state when to call a great Heavenly Council (based obviously on how many spirit babies you've produced), the nature of the Debate, how a War in Heaven is to be waged, the outcome, who gets to be the Redeemer, the devil, and who gets to restore the church after the Redeemer fails in the first place. Maybe other gods will remove the 'free agency' concept. Hell, they're gods, they can do anthing!

Don't forget that the Universe is also on the path of Eternal Progression, and sooner or later all the planets and stars will become crystallized. How black holes, accretion disks and dark matter become celestial remains unrevealed, but you can be sure God's probably got a plan for that, too. Perhaps they don't need upgrading as that's 'grandfathered' in.

none of the above. when we attain entrance in the highest kingdom, we are given the power to create worlds, and frolic around in it, but only the one true God governs everything. If one of the comments you said were true, it would contradict with the fact that the LDS church is monotheistic.

As for your other question, I know that there is also a Heavenly Mother, same with Heavenly Father. So far, I don't recall anything about grandparents, siblings, or any other obsecure relatives whatsoever.

LDS presents itself as a brand of Christianity, but anyone from a church that professes the Apostles Creed will know otherwise instantly. We believe in one God eternally existant who is the one and only God. I have several friends from the LDS church, and they do believe that men who are "temple initiated" will have their own planets. Anyone who claims equality with God past, present, or future is not Christian. The LDS believes that all beings came from a "pool" of pre-existing souls waiting to be joined to a body, "God's spirit children" one of whom was Jesus...just another spirit child. Claiming godhood of any kind exalts a creation against his/her Creator. I assume that the Mormons believe in God having an origin, perhaps he is a "spirit-child" himself. I'll have to ask.

Why are we here? Is God our Father in Heaven? Are we here to learn to become like him, so that we may have all that he has? Do we want our kids to have all that we have? So, is it all about the family? Would you, as a father, want to give all that you have to your kids? Would you teach them and show them the way to accomplish this? If He is in fact our Father, then is there anything good that you can think of that our Father would keep from us?

Paul says in the Bible that we can be heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus Christ.

After that, I don't know, and I don't really think about it all that much. I have enough to worry about, just living life. I will let the resurrection take care of itself. I will live for Christ.

17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

(New Testament | John 20:17)

Does Jesus Christ has a Father?
Are we not Children of God?
Are we not part of God's family?

Do you have extended families??

Now, are you able to answer your own questions?

It is my understanding that this is indeed the inside teaching on what LDS bellievers expect their 'heaven' will be like.
