The problems that you are referring to on the new 6,4 diesel were minor and were corrected with a 15 minute calibration adjustment....do not even consider anything except the Ford........trade values are really low and the Dodge has had problems matching the transmission to the engine from the start.....on the Chevy....why would anyone put aluminum heads on a iron block....what do you think will give with duress.....go Ford the # 1 selling vehicle in the US since forever.........Ford sells more superdutys then Dodge and Chevy combined.......why? ask yourself that question!

I strongly suggest that you get a Ford Power Stroke. Ford makes there own motors, Chevy doesn't and they don't make there tranies either. My Grandfather has an 02 Ford F-250 and the only thing that went wrong was the idle was higher than what it was supposed to be. Another friend has an f-250 and they take it everywhere and beat the tar out of it. They both Love there trucks.

The new super duty ford truck has a new 6.4 diesel engine with dual turbos. It also has received high marks for safety too. I'll admit I'm biased, but they are good trucks. I've helped build them for over a decade. The diesel now sounds like a gas engine once they are started. They are very quiet and have plenty of power for towing or hauling. Check out the specs for yourself and see if it is a good fit for you. good luck.

i would pick the dodge, but get a standard shift, no automatics. i have had 4 dodges and the last one had 325,000 miles , i did have to put a new clutch at 200,000 miles, but you cant beat the engine.
