She got her new bras now why won't she wear them?

I just had a thought, after reading your dilemma with her. Don't pressure her to wear them...she'll do it when she's ready. What if you went shopping with her and had her pick out some tank tops (since summer is coming). A lot of the new ones have built-in bras. They might be an easier adjustment for her. A transition...she'll get use to them, but not feel like it's a totally separate undergarment, and you can shop with her, as it's not embarrassing for either of you. Just a thought! I give you a lot of credit! You sound very concerned for her and that's so neat to hear from a guy. Keep up the good work! Don't get frustrated...more situations will arise, but you sound like you're on the right track and handling them well. Not easy being a single dad...kudos to you!!

It depends on how old she is. Some kids just aren't as mature as other's and find certain things "unimportant" or they don't really care about that stuff yet. An example would be hair, showers, clothing (if it's wrinkled, or how it fits). Somehow they fall into it when their ready, but it can make you crazy. If they are "new" bras, just throw the old ones out, if they are her first bras, just tell her she has to wear them before she can leave the house, just make sure they are comfortable to her.

because when a girl gets her first set, she gets all embarrassed. For eg: what if she is the only one waring one in her grade?
What if someone sees her bra strap?
These seem little problems to us, but as a girl changing, its the end of the world.
Just reassure her that she is not the only one who worrys about these things,
and that she needs to wear bras for support.
But just a word of advice dad, your little girl wearing bras, the boys pick up on this big time, and before you know it they will be turning up on your doorstep asking for her.
I know this from xperience lol

it might not be the one she likes or it doesnt fit properly maybe you should get a friend to take her shopping where she can try them on and pick the one she likes the best and if its new to her wearing a bra she may not feel comfortable wearing it i was that way when i was young then finally i started wearing it but it was still uncofortable to me lol

She will,,,,my daughter used to come home from school with her bra in her back pack,,,,,beleive it or not, the darn things take some getting used to,,,,,,,
