I have tried moving my task bar back to the bottom ofthe screen but it only gets half way any ideas what the problem is i am running windows XP2.

I always drag and drop it. Maybe you're dragging it in an odd direction? I pull from anywhere on the taskbar and drop on the left bottom corner of the screen. It works for me. Right click on your task bar and make sure that "lock taskbar" is not chosen. If it is, remove the checkmark and you should have no problems at all.

THEN... as quickly as you have dragged the bar back to the backside, you should to surprising click on the bar and verify "Lock the Taskbar". which will save all people from with the flexibility to accidently pass it sooner or later.

I meditate and think in my mind, "move to bottom, move to bottom". It never works, so, I do what the first answer say. It easier. :-p
