Are there any more annoying people to deal with than car salesman?

I've been car shopping and these people give me a headache; is this unusual?

I'm a car salesPERSON.
My customers always drive away happy! & without headaches, so I'll have to say that it is unusual.

I have an excellent reputation, as does the dealership that I work at.

If I was that annoying then I wouldn't be doing what I do.

No this isn't unusual matter of fact its not just car salesman its all salesman, they don't usually care about the customer and keep on pushing to get you to get what they want you to get... All salesmen at least car salesman regardless of what they may say always get a commission the more they sell and the more exspensive they sell the bigger that commission check is going to be.

Yes there is... and they are people like you whom come on a a lot hating it for one simple reason, they have not got a clue how to buy a car, have not done any homework to even try to be on somewhat same level playing field.

I am sorry for being harsh with you, dealers sell cars the same process every day and its not their fault the buyer is uneducated buying something that's negotiable.

no,its really normal they have a job to do ,and that is to sell you a car,and they,ll try anything they can to do this,and sometimes they will get on your nerves,we have all been through this,sometimes it makes you just wish you could type in what kind of car you want it and it be delivered to you,some of my family owns a car lot,and i help out on holidays,and i know i get on peoples nerves ,but i try to let them look before i make a sales pitch,it helps make them a little calmer sometimes,good luck ,hope this helps.
