The first thing you need to do is get up and start moving around and using your muscles. Any exercise is good just don't strain yourself when doing them. Second, if it is warm where you live get outside and start doing things such as washing your car, mowing the lawn or do some gardening the point is get your body moving and try to work up sweat. Third, do not drink anything that has syrups, sugars or alcohol, drink only water. Water is the best drink that anybody can have and drink plenty of it if you are exercising or working up any kind of sweat. Forth, I know that there will be some people not agree with this, but I am a firm believer that it is not the types of foods you eat that make you gain weight. IT'S HOW MUCH YOU EAT! I agree that breakfast is the most important meal keep that in mind. Try to cut in half what you usually eat for lunch and for dinner and never eat before you go to bed. Remember drink plenty of water and good luck.

1. Cut out all forms of carbohydrates from your diet. Replace with High Protein (meat). No sugar, no starches, no caffeine.
2. Increase water intake to a minimum of 1 gallon a day. Try drinking a cup of water before each meal, a cup during each meal and a cup after each meal. Then a pint (2 cups) at snack times, and in evening.
3. I agree with making breakfast your largest meal, lunch 2nd largest and diner the smallest (breakfast of a king, lunch of a prince and diner of a pauper).
3. Ride a exercise bike or walk a treadmill vigorously for 30 minutes a day.

The high volume of water alone will drop 5 lbs in the first week by eliminating your body's natural water retention when we don't drink enough.

Cutting out the carbs forces your body to burn the calories being taken in and you provide your body no means to create fat (carbs breakdown to sugars and are stored as fat).

The exercise also burns calories, both the ones you are taking in in the form of food and burning fat stores.

This type of diet is effective on the sort term. Due not use long term. This is also know as a cholesterol diet. This can also be hard on the liver over if maintained over the long term. Consult a physician/dietitian if used for over a month.

There are many advertisements in magazines and television that promise quick weight loss in a short period of time. Unfortunately many of these products do not deliver or are harmful to your health. Another problem with crash diets is that frequently the weight you lose does not stay off.

The best way to lose weight and have it stay off is to develop good habits. Eating healthy and regular exercise will give you the result that you want and keep you physically fit.

Before you begin to try and lose weight you should consult a nutritionist, nurse or doctor. Any of these professional can help you plan a healthy approach to weight loss that will fit your life style. Dieting has to be carefully monitored during adolescence because it is a period of physical growth. It is critical that you get the necessary nutrients that your body needs to develop.

Also remember that each person's body is unique and that you will be happier if you accept yourself for the way you are. Comparing yourself to others or models in magazines is not being fair to you and only serves to challenge your self-esteem.

eat lots of fruits and vegetables that are high in fiber. Eat lots of strawberries, blueberries, apples. They are all high in Fiber. Dont drink any regular Pop or anything else that is high in sugars. Sugar is the fastest way to gain calories, so try to cut all things containing sugar. If you are craving something sweet, then eat some fruit, 100% juice, or lemon water. Also do alot of biking and swimming, preferably around 3 hours a week. You'll probably average losing 3lbs a week.

Eat three healthy meals a day. Make breakfast the biggest meal. No snacks after dinner. Drink plenty of water and excersize. I lost 20lbs in college doing that. Lose weight in a healthy way, you'll be able to keep it off.
