So this guy on here keeps claiming that all atheists share a rule set and beliefs. I keep telling him that we only share one value and that is the lack of any evidence of any of the billion proposed gods. Can anyone name any other belief that our whole group shares?

I believe it was Richard Dawkins that said getting a bunch of atheists together to support a common belief is like herding cats.

No. We only share the one common thread - no god exists to us. Even in this belief, there are two approaches to it. The first is the more passive "I don't believe in god," which is similar to many agnostic stances. Commonly, this is called "weak" atheism. The second is the more aggressive, or proactive, stance, "I believe there is no god." This is what we would call a "strong" atheist. There is no other unifying theme. Some of us believe in reincarnation, others only in one life, one death. Some of us mix in other spiritual forms of belief, like Buddhism, Zen, or Taoism, since these beliefs do not require a god. Others are purely atheists, so there is nothing spiritual to them. We even have differing points of view about morality.

None. Even the way we perceive religion is different. To have rules and a set of beliefs would make us a religion, and we are obviously not one.

I think most people have the same general ideas of good and bad, no matter what, if any, religion they follow.
Differences lie in the details (murder is wrong... except when...)

The guy sounds like he finds it necessary to pigeonhole people so he can understand them better.
I don't fit into a pigeonhole.

Nope.
I could give you three or four that are close. But I have talked to exceptions to all of them.
