I know I have a cavity and one of my fillings broke off awhile ago, but my tooth is throbbing right now, but I have no insurance. I live in northwest indiana. Anyone know where I can find a cheap plan or how I can get cheap dentist help? :( Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!

Yes, work at a dental college is the same as a reg dental office. When I went inside, it just felt like a reg dental office. They had rooms and I don't think reg ppl would notice much difference. There's always someone to watch over their work too. I've had fillings done and they lasted a long time. I had them for almost 10 years and only had them removed because I liked the look of the white ones. Even my dentist said they're in great shape. Great work and low prices. Good luck!

The best would be to go to a dental school and get your work done. It is usually very affordable.

If for any reason you are not able to go to one, you can get an affordable Dental benefits plan and save a lot of money on your dental work.

But first go to the web site and check the dentists in your area by typing in the zip code. Once you verify the availability of the dentist, you can sign up on line to get your ID #. Yu can use the plan immediately.

One good thing is, the company gives you a 30 day money back guarantee.

Yes visit a local dental college. Same work if not better because the student cares about doing it right and a license dentist is reviewing their work constantly. Cost much less! Get your teeth cleaned there too while you are there! Visit ADA.org for a list of colleges in your state.

I agree with the above suggestions to go to a dental school if there is one nearby.

As Dr. Albert mentions, there is one at Indianapolis. If where you are in NW Indiana is too far from there, there is also another dental school at the University of Illinois in Chicago.

The quality of care at a dental school is as textbook as you can get. Literally. :-D

Good luck.

If there is a college that has a dental school nearby you can usually go to one of them without insurance or an appointment.

HELLO,
GO TO THE INDIANA SCHOOL OF DENTISTRY IN INDIANAPOLIS TO HAVE DENTAL WORK. THE PRICES ARE MORE REASONABLE THAN REGULAR DENTISTS AND THE WORK IS EXCELLENT.
