I would suppose that would depend on how each Astronaut viewed their own spirituality.

Sorry lame answer. I can't see where your going tonight. I usually see the general "higher" theme.

Astronauts are human beings. "Outer space" is just another place. Astronauts, like other human beings, may wonder and dream and I suppose that being in space may add a lot to their imagination inventory. However, I don't believe this is spirituality. If, on the other hand, an astronaut is more aware of his/her connection with the rest of the world he/she is looking at from above or if an astronaut encounters another life form and is aware of their connection I'd say that these would be spiritual experiences.

Apparently so. Some astronauts have reported that after being in space, they feel part of a 'whole' as in the earth and universe, rather than the seperate entity of 'man' our egos demand us to generally feel. However the experience can leave some astronauts depressed and questioning their own role in a bigger existence that they have glimpsed.

How do you think you would feel in outerspace? Floating around above the planet. You'd be feeling something thats for sure. Unless you was afarid of heights then just crapped your pants. That would be a religous experience either way.
