I'm gonna be honest, I would feel a little uncomfortable and out of place. It would mostly depend on how they reacted to me though. I attend a multi-racial church, over half the congregations is non-white, but it's one of our core principles to join people together. Everyone feels at home there, we have so many races and nationalities no one really feels out of place. But I know a lot of people don't think about things like that. It is just a natural human reaction to feel out of place when surrounded by people obviously different from you. If I just walked in to the average all black church, they wouldn't expect that and it might make me feel uncomfortable.

I would wonder why they chose to paint their church black. It seems rather dark.
Just kidding! I honestly would feel out of place, but I'd certainly go if someone from the church invited me. I live in a rural community populated mostly by Caucasian type people, so I don't know when or if I would have that opportunity.

I am white and would have no problem with it. The only concern I would have is what the beliefs of the church were. Were all came from Adam and Eve. So we are all brothers and sisters. there is only one race the Human Race. I love everyone! I pray that God will use me as his tool to reach other people. Hope this helps!
God Bless!

A black church would mean witch worship or demonic worship to me and I wouldn't go. If you're asking about attending church services of African American people then you should try it out. It's got nothing to do with "black". That's a color and shouldn't be used to identify a church or ethnic group people.

I have been to many black churches and I can tell you that black people know how to have church it is a lot of fun for the most part.

I would feel pretty ticked off about attending church being as how I am an atheist. In my first years as a student, I was often the only white girl. It didn't bother me.

The same as I'd feel going to any church.. Uncomfortable, since I don't believe in church..

There is no such thing as a "black" church. However, if you are referring to the Gospel tradition, there are no churches locally of that particular style, and so I seek them out via shortwave.

Fine. My church is multi-racial, anyway. But I've been to churches in which I was the only person in the congregation who wasn't African-American, and it was fine. I was made to feel welcome. I've been invited to sing with several black church choirs, and was the only Italian guy in the house.
