FireFox blows IE away. Much more stable and it has better add on features. (customize the way it looks)

Now,.... that said.... DONT USE IT!

I want FireFox all to myself. The more people that use it, the more viruses that will be designed for it.

The big difference is that Firefox is a lot more customizable than IE7. I use both depending on what I am using since some sites still require IE7 to work properly. I would get both and use Firefox for everything and then IE7 for only what requires it mostly Microsoft sites like Windows Updates and some other sites with plugins. Also Firefox according to many online tech sites it is more secure than IE7 and a lot more features.

Hope this helps.

To be impartial, there are some cases where IE7 is better than Firefox. Today IE7 has a cleaner look. But I would prefer Firefox for difference.

Firefox is a derivative of the old netscape browser. IE7 is of course, Microsoft's browser. IE7 is the first internet explorer release in years and is a complete ripoff of the firefox UI. Firefox is smaller and faster than IE and less prone to attacks because it doesn't allow websites to run Visual Basic Script( a programming language that many virus writers use to launch their viruses because it allows a web site to write to your hard drive.) Firefox runs all website script in a "sandbox" so that it can't write stuff on your hard drive(except through cookies, which aren't a thread). IE7 is Microsoft's attempt to try to gain back market share lost to firefox. Since both operate about the same way, there needs to be another way to compare them. And there is. Firefox allows you to customize the way it looks and the way it operates through themes and extensions. Some people to choose to pack it with so many extensions that it hardly resembles the original program and they feel uncomfortable using someone else's firefox. Firefox is not just a program, a modified firefox is a work of art that reflects your personality.

Firefox is not just any browser, it is YOUR browser!

So my verdict is firefox.

Good question.. I use both.. I have my video going to a 36in tv and with Firefox I can make the screen bigger so I can read it. I like Fire fox as it is secure and less popups and i can open tabs instead of windows and it will remember them if you loose power a great feature, the only down side is the way it downloads files i like IE better and also Firefox does not open my home page properly as it is a Jave applet and IE opens it perfectly.. Try it for your self you can use both with no problems.. my page is http:\\mckeehanlive.com and i have enabled and installed the addons but the java applet will not work in Firefox..but jave does work just not mine HUM but I still like it.. and I still use IE also I like the way the favorites work and some pages are written for IE and not Firefox.. so use both and Enjoy Why not..

IE7 is and will be more widely accepted but Firefox is for the nerds with a great ability to be modified. Also IE will probably be prone to more adware attacks since its more mainstream

Firefox is way better -- it's much more secure, and it still has better features 'cause it's more customizable.
