Yes, the parents should offer to pay...and then they should make the child pay them back in some way...loss of allowance, extra jobs around home...the child should realize that there are consequences to their actions....

Yes the parent should pay for it. They are responsible for the things their children do. Now i have a question for you? How do you expect people to take you seriously if you don't use proper english and either do not know how to spell or are too lazy to use spell check??

Yes, it should be the responsiblilty of the parents. I'm a mother of two, with one on the way. But if my children break something of someone else's, then I at least offer to pay for it. Then I make the children do chores for me to pay me back for it.

yes, the parents are responsible for their children by law,if the child would have broken something in a store the shop owner would be in the right to demand the parents buy the broken item.I would have told the aunt I want money or the item replaced.( if possible)

yes, the parent is responsible for her childs actions and should pay you back or go out and replace the item that was broken. She should also sit her child down and tell them that what they did was wrong and make them work off the money she needs to pay to replace it.

Yes. It is just common sense. If I run my car into your car, then I should have to pay for damages. So if you break or damage something that is not yours, then it is your responsibility to repair or replace.
By the way, what is wrong with your spelling? How old are you?

If they have any manners at all, then yes.
I would have said to the kid--in front of their parent--"I hope you plan to pay me back for that. It cost me $25 and I only just bought it last week."
