My grandparents three gone one living with Alzheimer's.
I never got to know the ones who are gone and my parents have told me they would like me and approve of who I am.
I would like to ask my grampa's about WWII and their families. Especially my grampa B because we don't know very much about them. They came from Germany.
If I could have an extra two seats I would have my Mom who misses her Dad even now after many years and either my Great grama or my uncle who died young. I would really like talking to them again.

I would invite someone from the roman empire, someone from the medivial times, Marie Antionette, and a translator. All royalty and to ask the people from the roman empire and the medivial times to see what life was really like at that time and Marie antoinette to hear side of the story.

I would invite 4 hungry people to dinner........, why? because dead people aren't hungry. And then I'd teach them who to thank for a satisfying meal.

Samuel Clemens, because he'd tell some great stories.

Thomas Jefferson, because he'd tell us something we didn't know.

John Lennon, because I'd like to here him debate TJ and match wits with Clemens.

Jessica Alba, because the only way I'd get lucky with her is if the only other choices were 3 dead guys.

Jesus, of course, gets the first invitation.
Next Peter, James and John.
I'd like to invite all of the apostles, actually.
OK, why?
For my answer, I give you a little piece I wrote, many years ago:

Simon, James, Bartholomew,
How I long to follow you...
To walk with you, and talk with you,
Philip, Jude, and Andrew
Thomas, so skeptical, Matthew, so critical
Peter, so radical, and John, so mystical
James the elder, who did behold Him
Even Judas, the one who sold Him
Partakers of His mystery...
Partners in His ministry...
What was it like to follow Him?
To walk with Him and talk with Him?
To hear Him speak, to watch His face,
As He talked about love, about peace, about grace?
Do you remember each word He said
As He healed the sick and raised the dead?
Did your heart pound with a glorious thrill
As He bid the wind and waves "Be still"?
Did you tremble with awe as He fed the throng?
What was it like to tag along?

God (as the Trinity, so i'm getting three in one!)
Paul the Apostle
and... St. Augustine I guess
all of the above to learn more about God

and then the last person would be... someone really influential who really hates God, so they could better understand him. i might substitute the second and third for similar characters.
