Depends entirely on the time of day, carpool or not, and where exactly in L.A. you're going (keep it mind it sprawls across about a 30 mile radius).

In work traffic, without carpool, Huntington to -
L.A. Airport - 1hr 20m
Downtown - 1hr 30m
Hollywood - 2hr

If you've got a passenger for the carpool lanes, knock 20-30 minutes of those times.

If you're going at non-commute times, cut them in half.

Since I dont know exactly where you are starting in Huntington Beach and exactly where in LA you are going, this is a little vague. It seems to be 46 minutes long and 97 miles.

Good luck!
