I have not worked out in a while!!! I am wondering what I should do when I go to the gym to start out exercising and for how long

Walking would be great. Won't overstress you. I lost 30 lbs that way one summer. Five days a week 12 laps a day ( 3miles)

Start walking 3 days a week for 20 minutes. Then you can increase your excerside gradually.

To keep you fit, go for a walk for at least 30 minutes daily as long as you live.

I'd start with walking. It's the best cardio exercise there is and you can build slowly if you need to.

probably a light jog for 15 mins? work your way up to running for 25!

start with walking at home with a 3 lb weight in each hand...walk as far as you can, as fast as you can...then you will be ready to tackle machines in a gym without hurting yourself.
