well generally a parrot can eat and drink anything WE can.. just stay away from chocolate, avacado, and things containing caffeine.. I once had a cockatoo whom just LOVED ice cream.. you don't want to let them have it on a regular basis, but theres no harm in offering it as a "treat" on a weekly occasion.

I wouldn't recommend milk for your lovely Quaker( I love those birds). Its funny you say that because the other day I was outside with my sisters Quaker parrot and I was eating this cold vanilla ice cream on a stick when the bird decides to take some of mine. It was cute but then again just to be on the safe side its not recommended.

Parrots lack the enzyme to digest the lactose in milk products but can still tolerate small amounts. As long as the amount he takes is not producing diarrhea then it's fine. Yoghurt and cottage cheese is often enjoyed by birds and has nutritional benefits.

I doubt it's good for him. The only animal that should drink milk is a calf. Birds have no need for milk, and lactose is very hard to digest for most species (us included).

Try yogurt on spoon (little) Moderation
Mine likes cooked chicken, peppers, carrots, rice, spaghetti.
He likes many things.
Fresh little guy he is...
Quakers are quirky...

Birds are lactose intolerant, so if your bird drinks enough of it he could get sick.
