Ummmm, no.
First, Buddhists have no gods; the idea that they are trying to make someone worship their god is silly, as Buddhism is an atheistic religion.
Secondly, too many people are ignorant when it comes to terrorism. If anyone is a terrorist, it is the Christians who come into a country and convert and convert until the country is embroiled in civil war. They they claim to be the persecuted members. BS.
Christians destroyed the native population in North America and South America. They eradicated indigenous religions in Europe. They continue to work toward the elimination of all other faiths, and claim to be the persecuted party. If the Christians hadn't gone to Sri Lanka, would they consider themselves persecuted?
Christians like to think that because it says in a book that they should preach the gospel, that they have a right to go into any nation and destroy civilisation there. Then, when people are indignant at the destruction of their country, the Christians become happy about being persecuted. Indeed, it is a high honor for a missionary to be beaten or killed; which only makes one wonder just how truthful such Christians might be when they can't even get the facts right about the religion they are talking about.
Buddhists know that Buddha wasn't a god. Perhaps Christians might strive to understand that a bit better.

To answer the question. Yes they can be called terrorists. A person does not have to be a Muslim to be a terrorist. However, you should be more specific when you say 'Can we call Hindus and Buddhists “terrorists”' as this is a very generalist and stereotypical approach. Not all Hindu's, Buddhists or Muslims are terrorists. It is only the very small minority who commit the acts that could be regarded as terrorism. Christians, Jews, Atheists... ANYONE can be a terrorist.
Terrorism is not a religious ideal, although it appears that the majority of terrorists committing the acts of terror based on their religious beliefs. It is said that Religion can incite and motivate terrorism.
Terrorism is the act of terrorising, anybody can partake in this, regardless of age, gender, religion or any other factor for that matter.

"The violence of Buddhist extremists it’s being compared to the killing fields of Cambodia. In Sri Lanka religion has become mixed with politics and nationalism - creating a toxic brew of hatred and fear. They are…… forcibly trying to convert people to Buddhism and forcing people to kneel down to declare Buddha is our god! Read about it "
Dear..
Tamil net is LTTE propaganda. LTTE is a terrorist organization responsible for many suicide bombings and political assassinations. So that speaks out about the authenticity of Tamil net.

No where in Sri Lanka is anyone being forced to follow Buddhism. And Lord Buddha is not a god in Buddhism. We Sri Lankan Buddhists have better things to do, than trying to get people to follow Buddhism

It is a lucky thing for them Christians they were not Killed outright. The Baptists have been funding terrorist groups in India for ages. At least as far back as the 1950s.
Yes, part of the money you put on your collection plate goes to arming Christian Terrorists in India.
Christians murdered over 450 Indian people last year for refusing to convert.
You are an evil person to be supporting them.

Those were indeed mistakes of the past. No one will deny that. Is the current terrorism of today not a mistake? Or is it justified. Should people and governments not defend themselves today? Should White people simply give up and promote the cowardly terrorist suicide bombers into their realm and accept death? So okay - those Muslim terrorists are really great people and I support them killing the infidels. Those infidels shouldn't even try to defend themselves. There, how's that?

I would really check where you get your news from. You may want to check some facts. Answering on the last portion, Buddha never claimed to be a god. http://www.buddhanet.net/e-learning/5minbud.htm will give a brief intro to Buddhism. The report you gave is in direct opposition to any Buddhist beliefs. Tolerance of all is very important. "I honor the place in you in which the entire Universe dwells, I honor the place in you which is of Love, of Truth, of Light and of Peace, When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, we are One." This link, http://www.cfr.org/publication/9242 , will take you to information on The Tigers. It list the predominant religion which is not Buddhist. In fact the Tigers have attacked monasteries.

people who cause harm to other people for the sake of religion or just anything in general is a terrorist. but nowadays when people think terrorists..they think bombs. I just think the Christians should stop converting other people who aren't interested and everyone else should stop being so extreme. just stick with your own religion and don't annoy anybody else and try to make yourself seem superior. maybe then we can get some peace? it's just an idea...

If you want to, you certainly can ... however, just as all Muslims are not terrorists, neither are Buddhists and Hindus. There are extremist groups in all walks of life. (Look at Westboro Baptist Church and the Aryan Supremacist groups!)
